Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives United players Hairdryer Treatment after Champions League Exit
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, gave his players a dressing down following their disappointing Champions League defeat at the hands of Barcelona.
The Red Devils made a bright start at Camp Nou as they looked to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit, but were effectively out of the tie after two quick-fire goals in four minutes from Lionel Messi.
Former Liverpool playmaker, Philippe Coutinho added a third in the second half.
According to The UK Sun, Solskjaer was fuming with his players after the game and gave them a hairdryer treatment like old boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, would have been proud of.
It was reported that after initially sitting in silence with his head in his hands in the dressing room, Solskjaer finally stood up and addressed the squad.
The Norwegian told the players that they had let United down and accused some of not giving 100 per cent, which has led to their recent downturn in form.
He also stressed the importance of beating Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, even going as far as saying that a defeat would all but end their hopes of playing Champions League football next season.
