Onyekuru On Bayern’s Radar For Summer Transfer

Henry Onyekuru, Galatasaray of Turkey and Super Eagles of Nigeria striker could be on his way to Bayern Munich, as the Bundesliga club have opened talks over a likely deal in the summer.
Although Onyekuru is on loan at Galatasaray from Everton of England, Bayern have taken it upon themselves to sound out the Turkish Super Lig club over their chances of getting the lad in June.
DAILY INDEPENDENT gathered that it is now believed that Everton will use the opportunity to stick out for a fertile bargain with The Bavarians, considering that the English Premier League (EPL) club are yet to resolve the issue of a work permit for the player.
With The Toffees still uncertain of being able to get Onyekuru into their team from EPL next season, they may be constrained to cash in on his current form, which has seen him score goals at will in the Lig and receive a recall to the Super Eagles, after injury ruled him out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Details of the report out of Queensland indicate further that Bayern are preparing to table a very tempting offer for Onyekuru with Everton, after being frustrated in their pursuit of Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Everton’s sports chief, Marcel Brands has now slapped a €40m price-tag on Onyekuru, who popped to limelight playing for KAS Eupen of Belgium.
After getting an initial loan spell at another Belgian club, RSC Anderlecht, from Everton, Onyekuru is thrilling all at Galatasaray, such that Brands feels he holds all aces in his talks with Bayern’s Hasan Salhimadzic.
