Fashion Designer Behind the Super Eagles’ World Cup Outfit calls out NFF over Nonpayment



A fashion designer Esimaje Awani, CEO of GT Stitches, has accused the Nigeria Football Federation of not holding to the contract of payment on the Super Eagles World Cup outfit to Russia 2018.
The popular designer took to his Instagram page, said the football governing body has failed to pay him almost a year after the competition.
He said: ” NFF refused to pay for the ceremonial outfit almost one year after the World Cup!! This can only happen in Nigeria.

According to him, the NFF president Amanju Pinnick has stopped picking his calls.
” My brother Amanju Pinnick has stopped picking my calls because of this money. Someone at the office told me that court is my only option, what a shame!!”.
He challenged the NFF to come and say their part of thir part of the story.
” Please let NFF come and say their part. I have not been paid period. Some persons might not be patient as I was on the subject matter” He said.
It can be recalled that the Super Eagles outfit attracted several plaudits from fans and foreign correspondence on social media on their Russia 2018 Fifa World Cup Outfits.
