Trump mocks 'Jeff Bozo' over his $140bn divorce after his 'affair' was revealed in magazine owned by president's one-time ally David Pecker - and says he hopes the Amazon Boss loses the Washington Post
Trump took to Twitter to take a swipe at billionaire nemesis Jeff Bezos after the National Enquirer, run by former Trump ally, David Pecker published its bombshell report of Bezos' split with his wife. 'So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting,' the President sarcastically tweeted purposefully misspelling Bezos' name.
'I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post,'
Trump added, this time jabbing at the news outlet owned by Bezos.
'Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!' Trump has been particularly critical of The Washington Post in its coverage of his administration, and Jeff Bezos has often been the target of his retaliations on Twitter about what he considers to be unfair coverage. 'Well, I wish him luck. I wish him luck,' Trump said only days ago about the Bezos divorce. 'It's going to be a beauty.'
